It’s a light last update that we have for you this week. The House returned to Harrisburg this week for a non-voting session on Wednesday, followed by a voting session on Thursday to report House Bill 1042 favorably out of committee, advancing the legislation for consideration by the full House. It now goes to the Senate for final passage before both chambers return to recess until September.

The House left town on Thursday for its summer recess, so a packed legislative agenda and a long to-do list have had Washington working late into the evenings to prioritize certain legislative issues before the deadline hits.
