This week in Philadelphia, Mayor Parker announced a major milestone in the city's pension fund recovery and, alongside Governor Shapiro, helped break ground on 327 new homes at the Westpark Apartments redevelopment in West Philadelphia. At the state level, the Shapiro administration continued its economic development push with a $5.7 million PA SITES investment in Northumberland County, and the General Assembly advanced notable legislation on data center regulation and consumer protections for AI chatbots. Mayor Parker's Fiscal Year budget address is scheduled for March 12.
