This week, Philadelphia announced that Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) ended with a $1.187 billion fund balance, the largest in the city's history, and City Council was busy with hearings. A Bellevue client was honored at the Governor’s Keystone Awards, the governor took legal action against the Trump Administration, and House and Senate leadership from both caucuses met in person with the Governor to discuss the budget stalemate.

Virginia has begun redrawing its own congressional map, after passing a constitutional amendment that would allow them to bypass the state's bipartisan redistricting commission before the midterm elections.
